Brilliant food, overall beautifully designed place.

Fairly clean accommodation, superfriendly and efficient staff with fast service. Incredible room and a brilliant bathroom. Lots of goodies for breakfast. Incredible and pleasant location to all tourist areas, and 5 minute walk from Pannett Park.

Had a lovely stay! The staff were friendly and cute, and the location was perfect for exploring. Our room was recently refurbished, though a bit small. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise despite its simplicity. Just a heads up, parking is a bit of a hassle!

We had a pleasant stay at the George, appreciating its proximity to local amenities like the bus station, restaurants, and the harbour. The room we stayed in was clean and quite comfortable, and the staff were friendly and eager to help. They offered to assist with our luggage up the narrow stairs, making our arrival smoother. the hospitality and the cozy ambiance made for a decent experience during our visit.

The bar was jumping with sports on big screens. There was plenty of seating, and the atmosphere was lively. Karaoke nights? Count me in! Conveniently located near transport and local hotspots too.

I really enjoyed our stay as the area was close to several charming spots, including the RNLI Whitby Museum, just 500 meters away, and St Hilda's Church, only a short 5-minute walk. We loved being able to stroll through the town and soak in its rich history while easily accessing shops and restaurants nearby.

I loved the vibrant karaoke nights that were just a blast! The cozy, stylish bar made for the perfect hangout spot, and every corner had its unique charm. Plus, the location was unbeatable-just steps away from everything you want to see and do!

Stayed at the george for 2 nights, and it was a pleasant experience. The decor inside the pub is fabulous and very clean. It's conveniently close to all attractions. The breakfast was self-serve and good! I enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff while having a few pints.

The young gentleman at the front desk offered really good service. It was wonderful to have secure bike storage and the karaoke entertainment in the bar provided a fun atmosphere to unwind.
